FCCS Scheduled Jobs - Impact of Daylight Saving Time (DST) Ending on November 1, 2026

Summary:

With Daylight Saving Time (DST) ending in the US on November 1, 2026, I would like to understand how this transition will impact existing scheduled jobs in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).

We have multiple recurring jobs configured in FCCS, including data loads, consolidation rules, and other automated processes which use the CDT Chicago timezone currently.

I would appreciate clarification on the following:

  1. Automatic Time Adjustment: Will existing scheduled jobs automatically adjust for the DST transition and continue running at their originally configured local time, or will their execution time shift by one hour?
  2. Time Zone Handling: Does the FCCS Job Scheduler maintain the scheduled time based on the selected time zone (e.g., US Eastern), accounting for DST changes, or does it internally maintain a fixed UTC execution time?
