Recruitment Booster Interview Scheduling with Microsoft Teams: licensing requirements
Summary:
We are implementing Oracle Recruiting Cloud (Recruitment Booster) and plan to use Interview Scheduling with Microsoft Teams so that interview meeting links are generated automatically.
We have two questions:
- Account type: For the Microsoft account used in the Oracle integration, does it need to be a fully licensed user account (e.g., with a Microsoft 365 license that includes Teams) to generate Teams meeting links? Or is a shared mailbox account sufficient? Shared mailboxes are typically unlicensed and cannot sign in interactively, so we want to confirm whether they can be used to create Teams meetings.
- Are any additional permissions needed for Teams meeting generation (for example, OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite or OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite.All), and should they be delegated or application type? Is any further configuration needed on the Microsoft side, such as an application access policy?
