FCCS Groovy rule that returns a calc script fails at run time with “Use of deprecated APIs found”

Hi all,

We have several FCCS rules built as a hybrid. A Groovy rule builds a calc script as a string and returns it at the end (return calcScript). These rules validate and deploy without any issue. When we run them, the job fails with:

An error occurred generating Rule validate post processing script. Exception Details: com.hyperion.planning.HspRuntimeException: Use of deprecated APIs found. Please refer to http://docs-uat.us.oracle.com/cloud/latest/epm-common/GROOV/?groovy-examples.html for more details.

What we have found so far:

  • The same calc script, run as a standalone calc script rule with the runtime prompt values filled in, runs successfully and copies the data as expected.
