Applications Integrations from password-based authentication to token-based authentication
We are a government organisation and have been recently communicated regarding the migration of Oracle Fusion REST and SOAP integrations from password-based authentication to token-based authentication for our Fusion environments.
The notification advises that all affected integrations must be migrated by 31 March 2027.
Could you please clarify:
Is 31 March 2027 the absolute enforcement date, after which password-based authentication will cease to function?
Is there any flexibility or extension process available for customers with complex integration landscapes who may require additional time to complete migration and testing?
If there is flexibility, what would be the latest possible date by which migrations must be completed to avoid service disruption?
