Manage Personal Contributions (ICP): API with approvals for AI Agent?

Hi All,

Requirement:
We are building an AI Agent that lets employees view and submit their Personal Contributions (Individual Compensation Plans) through ESS. The agent should act on behalf of the logged-in employee, the same as the "Manage Personal Contributions" self-service page:

  1. Get the employee's eligible ICPs and current contributions
  2. Create / update / stop a contribution
  3. Route the transaction through the configured approval workflow

Issue:
We could not find a public REST API that supports Manage Personal Contributions as a self-service transaction. We tried:

  • REST API (Element Entries): Data is pushed to the element linked to the ICP. The entry is created, but no approval is triggered.
