Facing issue in PBCS Data entry form in Smart view, read only rows are turning into writable cells

In PBCS we have a data entry form where some rows are marked as read only so they are greyed out and not available for input. when the data form in opened in smartview the read only rows are still greyed out as expected and when the suppress missing rows is turned on in smartview options and refreshed, all the read only rows are turning into writable cells and are open for input. This was working as expected before a month and now we are facing this issue.
