Is it possible to auto generate a sequence number in Reference field on the Subinventory Transfer

We have a business requirement to automatically generate a sequence number in the Reference field on the Subinventory Transfer screen based on the selected Transaction Type. Is there any out-of-the-box functionality available in Oracle Fusion to achieve this requirement, such as through Sandbox customization or personalization? If not, what are the recommended approaches to implement this requirement?
