Restrict Connections(under "Me") people search to the user’s own country or legal employer

Summary: We have a multi-country Fusion HCM implementation. When an employee from Country A searches for people in Connections(under "Me" self service page), they should see only employees from Country A. Employees from Country B should not appear.

What we configured

• Created a custom abstract role that inherits PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT.
• Created a data role on top of it with:
  • Person Security Profile: View all unchecked, Secure by legal employer pointing to an Organization Security Profile (Organization List, India LE set to Include, View All unchecked), Assignments to Evaluate = All.
  • Public Person Security Profile: same configuration as above.
  • LDG, Country, Document Type and Transaction profiles scoped to India. Position and Organization profiles left as View All.
