Rejection comment not visible for GIGS applicant or GIG manager

Summary:

After a gig is assigned and line manager rejects with a comment, rejection comment is not visible to the applicant or Gig manager. Just a notification is sent to gig manager and fyi to the employee. How can we make the rejection comment visible or is this expected functionality?
