Subject: Clarification on Available to Reserve Quantity Logic in Oracle Fusion Inventory

Hi All,

I need clarification regarding the Available to Reserve Qty calculation in our custom Stock Status Report in Oracle Fusion Inventory.

In the current report, I have an item with the following values:

  • On-Hand Quantity: 84
  • Reserved Quantity: 0
  • Available to Transact Quantity: 84
  • Available to Reserve Quantity: 84

However, the subinventory associated with this item is configured as non-reservable.

Our expected business calculation for Available to Reserve Qty is:

Available to Reserve Qty = On-Hand Qty − Reserved Qty − Pending Qty

For this item, the expected calculation is:

84 − 84 − 0 = 0

The issue is that the current report shows Available to Reserve Qty as 84 because there is no reservation against the item, and the subinventory is non-reservable.

Howdy, Stranger!
