India address LOV returns duplicate rows for the same postal code in different languages

Summary:

We are configuring address validation for India and need advice on duplicate multilingual entries in the address LOV.

Setup completed

  • India geography data imported (Name Data Provider: GBG | Loqate), with hierarchy State → City → Postal Code visible in Manage Geography Hierarchy
  • Manage Geography Validation: India, for both Indian Postal Address Format and Indian HCM Address Format:
    • Enable List of Values and Geography Validation ticked for State, City and Postal Code
    • Save Address with Master Geography Mismatches = Error
  • Geography Name Referencing run for India

Country: India has a single name (India, American English)

Issue
On Hire an Employee (Redwood) and the Addresses section, the Pin Code LOV now appears, but it returns the same postal code several times with city names in different languages. Example for 500002:
