"Failed" status when trying to unlock an approval unit in FCCS

I am trying to unlock an approval unit and i get this error

"Change status failed with the following exception: Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.hyperion.planning.sql.HspMember.getGeneration()" because "beforePUMember" is null"
