Update your grade-level configuration for naturopathy programs
On October 30, 2026, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) clarified that Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.M.D.) qualify as professional degrees for federal student loan limits during the District of Oregon's preliminary injunction. GENERAL-26-42 includes CIP 51.3303 and other programs in the same four-digit CIP group that award the qualifying credential.
Update your configuration before the baseline update
Your institution needs to maintain the professional-program rules for its own programs, CIP codes and credentials. The reference baseline provides a CIP list; it cannot identify your institution's program-and-plan codes, major identifiers or credential mappings.
