To update job offer(s) using the REST API - PATCH CALL

in HCM REST APIs

Hi Community,

I am looking for guidance on updating Job Offer details that are already in Approved status.

My objective is to update the Assignment Information and Hiring Team details on an approved job offer. To achieve this, I am using the Oracle HCM REST API with a PATCH request to update fields such as the Recruiter and Hiring Manager.

However, every time I make the request, I receive the following error:

403 - Forbidden

The endpoint I am using is:

/hcmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/recruitingUICreateOrUpdateJobOffers/30000xxxxxxxxx

Could anyone help me understand:

  • Whether this is the correct REST API endpoint for updating recruiter and hiring manager information on an approved job offer.
