How do I add a table sorter

The issue is that we need a simple table sorter added to the site that offers user the ability to sort and find specific media.  It has to sort my date, title, type, and audience.

• We tried to upload javascript files in the resource manager;  But the resource manager does  not allow this and the system throws an error that the extension is invalid. 
• We tried to put the javascript files on our server and just refer to them from the Taleo environment. That doesn’t work either. We tried to access these remote files both from the individual pages and from the header. No success.
