Preventing "test out" of AICC course?

My users are to complete a required training. We are using a Skillsoft course that was loaded by Taleo as an AICC course. When the user launches the course they see the Skillsoft course index with an active button on the right side to "take test" and complete the course without viewing any of the content. Are there settings I may have missed or work arounds that would prevent the user from taking the test until working through the content? Skillsoft said there was...if we bought their LMS, which is obviously not what we did. Thanks.
