Instructions not showing in OB Contact assignments

When doing a Contact Task in TBE Onboard, the "Instructions" section of the task is not showing up on the webpage that the contact is directed to via the "CLICK TO UPDATE" link. The instructions are really important, and I'm not sure if/how I can update that webpage to include the instructions we set up in the task template. The alternative is to set up the email to include the instructions, but right now we're using the "activity assignment by packet" field to pull all the data from the tasks w/ details in a list format.
Is there either 1) a way to update the webpage the contact is forwarded to, or 2) an easy way to add in the instructions to the email notification while preserving the format where it shows the Employee Name, Task Title, add
