I have an issue. The CLI is useless for me because it can't pass RTSVs to a calculation (that I can see). It can't call a Groovy script so that I can dynamically set the POV I want to calculate based on day (that I can see). Maxl has a bug and won't allow me to login, so that is useless. So, I am trying to work with REST. I have done some of this with PBCS, and the documentation is pretty good about the load required to execute things. I can't, for the life of me, find the documentation for REST with Essbase. I know some of it is common to both, but I want to see a table of functions like PBCS has so I can learn how to use it. As an example, I want to PUT JOBS for type of [calculation, groovy, etc] and see what the payload is to pass the parameters for the run time sub vars. If somebody has the answer, I would love to have it. Even better, I would love to have the link to the table of functions similar to THIS.

RTSV support thru CLI and REST is currently under development and should be available soon.
Please raise an Oracle SR for the MAXL bug.
For now you could work with JAPI. this is available from the console page of OAC Essbase. This has the zip file for JAPI that includes documenation and sample examples.
