Learning Plan Messaging Errors

Has anyone else out there been seeing wrong Learning Plan messages coming out of their LMS? We've had a really odd ocurrance, Here's what's happening:
LP is due on 9/18, with a message set in the LP to go out one day prior to due date.
User completes course on 9/17, LP marked complete in Learning History
LMS Message fires out at 3:05am on 9/18 going to the 426 people who completed the course on 9/17, saying they have upcoming due dates.
LMS Message fires out at 3:05am on 9/19 going to the same people, saying they have upcoming due date for the LP, even thought it's AFTER the due date, and they are complete.
