TBE Recruit- Internal Employee Application-

I do not want my internal applicants completing the same application as the external applicants.  I've gone into Recruit as the Admin and edited the Internal application form by hiding all items I do not want internals to answer.  I all looks right, but when I go into the system as an internal applicant to apply, it provides the same application as for external use.  This is more than extraordinarily frustrating.  I'm a recruiter/ HR manager by trade, so me spending literally 24 hours to try and fix this and it still isn't working, is a bit of a problem.
