Best way to updating Existing (Captivate 6) Courses through FTP

I recently FTP'd a Captivate 6 course over to Learn to test out all of the functionality. I have bookmarking turned on and went through about half of the course before I noticed that I needed to make a few changes. I made the changes in Captivate and then re-published/FTP'd the course back over to Learn. I replaced the existing course files on the FTP with the new files. Because I had already started to take the course, it did not update my version. I asked someone else to launch it (who never took it) and they get the revised
