SCORM Course (status and score) not getting updated in system

I've rolled out a Captivate quiz to about 500 or so users. I am getting several reports back (about 10% of users) that they are unable to successfully submit the scores to the system. They are completing the Captivate module with a passing grade, then following the Taleo course prompts to hit next and then exit. Most of the time, it works, but ocassionally, it gives the status that they have not completed the course. Subsequent reports identify them as incomplete.

Users are connecting with Google Chrome Version 24.0.1312.57 m, sometimes using a slow VPN connection, with a SSO application between our intranet and Taleo.
