EWS Home Tab - Edit Employee data

I have created a secondary version of this page layout under the Employee Website page layouts called "Edit Contractor Information" as we have created a second EWS for contractors. However, I do not see where I can assign this page layout to the contractor website. When I test it, the contractor website still says "Edit Employee Information" bc I do not know how to assign this layout. Also, under "Edit Settings" for the EWS, there is a page layout that says "Employee View." What is this referring to, and how do I create a second version of it?
