Can you chnge the course order from alphabetical in Category?

I know that some discussions have been had before about the Category function in that it needs to be completely redesigned!  I wondered if anyone had managed to list the mapped courses in a category in anyhting but alphabetical?  I use the Category DO to create the course catalog in a page and want to list the courses within a specific Category in a specific order.  I realize I can do this in a Learning Plan but why not in a Category?
