Learning Plan - User/Group Mapping?

I’m new here, and need some help with Learning Plans!  If you put a default due date on a Learning Plan, will it be assigned to new hires (who are dynamically added to LP via mapped groups) after the due date?  If that’s not clear, I’ll try to explain the situation…  I created an “October 2014 Learning Plan” and assigned it to users using location-based, dynamic groups.  I made the due date on the LP AND the courses within the LP 10/31/14.  This particular learning plan is a one-time-deal.  I don’t want it to be assigned to anyone new after
