External Training Feature. Looking for advice

Hi, we have been wanting to use the External DO for some time. Earlier barriers have been removed and we have pilot groups ready to test it for adding CPR training from outside agencies to their record.
However, in a "test" demo, I added a dummy entry in the External Feature undermy administrator username. The feature ended up sending out a request for approval to EVERY leader and manager in our hospital. Needless to say I am a bit gun shy now after over 300 emails went out erroneously to every leader.
Oracle Engineering has not provided an answer to why this occurred andmy pilot groups are on hold. Has anyone else had this happen where the external training feature spammed the entire organization? Are you using the External Feature? if yes, would you pleaseshare some of your lessons learned and best practices.
