Um - are others finding their LCs to be particularly muddy in terms of user changes tonight

I am trying to update a SINGLE - one (uno) account tonight and the learncenter seems to not be allowing for a single user account to be updated in terms of user status. I tried a few work arounds with the ui - but they aint sticking. I tried using the bulk importer. I tried using the user interface and updating their membership. Nada - zilch. We did receive an administrative warning that our web service encountered timeout errors this morning. Anyone else in this boat?????
