Number of Absence Days in a Month
Summary
We want to report on the number of absence days that have been taken for each month.Content
Hi. We'd like to report on the number of absence days that have been taken for a given month. We were hoping that this would be possible using the Month and Leave Duration columns from the Absence Details Real Time subject area, however we are facing an issue. I've used Julian's great report posted here: http://appsconnect.custhelp.com/posts/1d147b496e as a starting point, but the values returned aren't what we what.
The problem is when someone records an absence using continuous dates between 2 months. For example if an employee has a 21 day absence between 31/12/2015 and 28/01/2016, we would expect the Leave Duration to show 1 day for Dec'15 and 20 days for Jan'16.
