How do I remove EDT and EST from date field?

Is there a way to turn off the EST and EDT from displaying on my LearnCenter Reports.  This is new as my older reports do not download EDT or EST on the report.  This is problematic for our users with varying levels of Excel skills.  We just started noticing this.  Was this a result of the recent update?
