Realistic lag of removal of courses from the LearnCenter Search?

Summary

Does anyone have a feel for how long it takes for the LearnCenter Search to reindex itself?

We are finding that courses are not being removed immediately from the Search when we uncheck the option to include it in a course (a great feature until recently). Does anyone know what a realistic threshold should be for how much soon after we flag it for being removed that it is done?
