Many a time the issue you are encountering would already have been addressed by means of a 'KM Document' on MOS or a solution would have been posted on MOS Community. For BI issues/topics, a search term like 'Financials OTBI' yields a number of Knowledge documents AND Community posts as part of search results. There is a fair chance that your issue will be addressed.

You can also ask questions in the community - a link appears at the bottom right 'Ask in Community'.
