PROBLME STATEMENT: We have identified that certain training and skills must be repeated or refreshed, and some will require an audit trail on certification dates along with a decertification process when the worker has either been away from the work or process for a period of time or is no longer working in an area.
Right now, recurrence exists in our Learning Management System set up with both Skills and Learning Plans. Our recurring training that are made up of courses are covered using recurring Learning Plans, however, we use special enrollments to trigger skills completion. These are demonstrable events that are submitted by the employee’s supervisor and will work for one time skill acquisition. For skills that must repeated, the current enrollment trigger will not work.
