New Supervisor Roles now propagating Supervisors into the tool?

We have an older integration (that works with the SUPERVISORTEM)

My understanding was that we needed to work with MOS to adjust and use the new Supervisor roles tools.

But for some reason? It seems like an integration is interacting with the new tools. Any ideas? Did I miss a point?
We are not putting these people in by hand.......
