Is it possible for an employee to update their gender in employee self service?

We don't record gender for all employees but we want to start capturing this data and allow employees to add their gender via employee self service.  It does not look like this is available as standard in HCM Cloud (Fusion) Release 11 but can anyone tell me if this can be enabled and how?
