Audit Reporting

We want live recently with Oracle Cloud Financials and we are exploring the native Audit Reporting features. We have run into road blocks as it pertains to the scope of the reporting and the type of information it returns.  I was wondering if anyone has gotten the audit report feature to work for them, and whether they have used any 3rd party applications to assist (i.e Audit Vault).
