Ability to display position number in directory, person gallery or person management

We heavily rely on position numbers in our processes and would like to display the position number in system either via the Directory, Person Gallery/Portrait Cards or Person Management. I have looked at page customization/composer but I cannot see how we can render the position number. Can anyone tell me if or how this can be done?
