User still seeing Learning Plan even though user is not mapped to Learning Plan

I have a user who is no longer in a dynamic group as her criteria has changed. This group is mapped to a learning plan. When I try to look up the user in the learning plan, I can't find her so it seems like she's no longer mapped to the learning plan once she drops off the group, which is how the system should behave.

However, the user can still see the learning plan when she logs into the LearnCenter. I was under the impression that once a user drops out of a group, she will also be unmapped from any learning plan associated with that group. What's strange in this case is she's not in the Learning Plan anymore, but she could still see it in her Learning Plans widget. My biggest concern is that this user could still continue to get emails triggered from the LP.
