Capture user's public IP address

What methods you usually use to capture user's public IP address?Content
Due to specifics of our main user base, we find ourselves in need to verify their IP addresses in some cases.
Learn platform seems to be capturing only private server IPs with sessions information.
I am just wondering if somebody else already had this kind of need and whether there is an easy way to implement a solution?
