Jobs and Positions

Content

Dear All,

This is a kind of structure question to invite viewpoints.

In HCM cloud we have Jobs and Position. As per documentation Jobs are very generic and position is very specific instance of a Job.

So in case of Human Resource Manager and Finance Manager, I can have Manager as a Job and Human Resource Manager and Finance Manager as position under a job called Manager.

Now if I want to create profile for all Managers in HCM cloud I can create for Manager Job and if I want to create profile for HR Manager I can create for position Human Resouce Manager.

Howdy, Stranger!
