WBT Inacurrate Completion Record

We have a user who received a completion record for a mapped item (WBT) that was mapped to a learning plan. The user received a completion record for both the learning plan and the WBT course. However, the user scored a 50% and the scoring criteria is set to be an 80% or higher for successful completion. We have a few sporadic users who are experiencing this but all other users are showing correctly.
Has anyone experienced something like this and if so, what is the best practice to change this person's record to incomplete since they technically did not score an 80% or higher to obtain the completion?
