View courses authored in Articulate on ipad without the Articulate Mobile Player app?

I have a vendor that uses Articulate to author courses. I recently noticed I cannot launch them from an ipad unless I download the Articulate Mobile Player app. Is this a common, or are there export settings in Articulate that will allow the course to open in Learn without requiring the app on apple devices.
I'm curious if anyone else has run into this.
