Competencies, skills and Peoplesoft

My organization recently went live with PeopleSoft and we're now looking at planning for phase 2 of the project. According to our HRIS team this step would ideally involve being able to develop a catalog of employees who have certain skills and/or certifications. My experience with the Advanced Learning section of Learn is limited to learning plans so I was hoping to gather some input as to how others have proceeded.

I was also wondering if anyone is in a similar situation - with a Learn to PeopleSoft connection - and how that works from an integration perspective. Right now we export a roster file from PeopleSoft and it is uploaded daily to Learn. This likely would need to be reversed (and automated) in order for HR to be able to see what has been captured in Learn.
