Communication breakdown between new courses and our LearnCenter

Summary

New courses complete properly the first time, but if they're opened after that, it automatically completes with the first completion's data

Hello, everyone! We recently imported some new SCORM 1.2/HTML5 courses and have encountered a tracking problem we've never seen before with any of our previous SCORM or AICC courses.

When we first imported the courses, we got a metadata warning, specifically, "Load Metadata: LoadLangstringElement requires its value to be a langstring. Load.Langstring ()LDCContent.Metadata 8.8.0." When we asked the vendor what to do, they told us to import the courses anyway. So we did.

The first time you go through these courses, they work properly. They hold your progress if you don't finish, and the LearnCenter records your completion data correctly. However, any time you launch the course after that, even if you fail the quiz or don't go anywhere near it, the LearnCenter automatically records it as a completion, with the first completion's score. We allow multiple attempts on WBT. (Some of our clients like to have certain titles recur annually.)
