Edit Course After Author Leaves

We have a number of curriculum developers (CD) at our company. When we started using Learn, each person uploaded their own courses into it. Then, after one left, we were left with the problem that another CD couldn't edit the course (name, etc). As a result, we created an admin user and all courses were added using it. Over time, most courses created by CDs who are no longer here have been removed as obsolete, we still have a few.

Is there any way for our admin account can edit one of these courses that have been added by an Author who is no longer here? We don't have the ability to log in as the absent Author.
