Salaried Employee Suspension
Summary
SOP for Salaired Employee Suspension in PayrollContent
If a salaried employee is on an every 2 weeks pay cycle which includes 80 hours of work and the employee made an annual salary of 48,000/year, how to handle a suspension? What if the employee was put on a 3 day suspension without pay during atleast one pay cycle(possible it could overlap paycycles)? The employee normally grossed 2000 every two weeks or 200/day. We want the gross of the employee to be 2000 - 600(3 days x 200/day) = 1400 gross. From 1400 all pretaxing and taxing etc should calculate.
