Open/Public sub-learn center and required log in

We have a sub portal that is open – no log in is required to access it.

However, we have a handful of courses that we would like people to take within this sub-portal. And we would like to be able to track that they have taken these courses.

I’ve put the courses on classic page.

I know that when a user launches a course, they will be prompted to login. However, I would like the users to be required to log in to the page where the courses are located. Since the learn center is open, I’m not finding a way to do this. They are able to access the page without logging in.
