Configurable Subcomponent

One of the biggest problems we are facing today is the lack of the ability to configure subcomponents. The problem is lacking the ability to order a quantity of a higher-level item that is a customizable item. To illustrate, start with a motherboard. I know that I am going to need 20 of these. The components that go on the motherboard, however, are configurable, meaning the processor, memory, PCIe cards, disks, etc. can be one of a number of selections. We would like to render this in a format similar to this:
