Character Limits in Fields

How to change character limits in fields....Content
I am needing to extend the field length for address, city and job title.
Right now it is set to 50 characters or less, but I need to extend that out, any suggestions on how to do that?
I looked through field settings but I didn't see anything that allowed for this sort of edit.
