Undeploy Descriptive Flex Fields

Content

Hi

I would like to know what happens to the data which is stored in a DFF, when we try to undeploy the flex field.

Can we undeploy flex field if they already have data stored in it.

We have a scenario where we need to change the dff from Manage Person to Manage Employment.

We can extract the data from the DFF's and load them in the newly created DFF's on Manage Employment screen.

After loading this data i want to undeploy these flex fields from PER_PERSONS.

Has anyone done this before? would the data be deleted by undeploying the flex fields? or do we need to create an SR with Oracle to run the delete script?

Howdy, Stranger!
