Dear Gurus,

We are exploring using certification function for FMLA. As part of the business process once the employee submits the FMLA Leave the employee needs to be notified preferably through email to submit proof for the same and also reminders when the due date approaches. 

Please let me know whether this can be accomplished using certifications. Please also let me know whether you had handled this scenario in other ways. 

Note : i also came across this 18765491 : NOTIFICATION IS NOT SENT ON DUE DATE OF CERTIFICATION but was not sure whether it is applicable for the initial notification as well.
